La Morandina
The Morando family has 5 centuries of history in Piedmont.
Brothers, Giulio and Paolo, have looked after the land of Morandini since the 1980's, a blessed territory rich in marl and limestone which, like in few other areas, can produce grapes with aromas and flavours of great pure elegance. They make 3 sensational wines organically. All carry DOCG status the highest classification in Italy.
Located in northwest Italy, Piedmont sits at the base of the western Alps. This unique geographical spot has two key features that influence the region’s climate: the cool Alps and balmy Mediterranean. These contribute to the broad day-night temperature variation, known as diurnal range. Foggy mornings, sunny days and cool nights result in great wine.
